Proximity Sensor Not Working in My Xiaomi Mi 5 - Need Advice ?

I am using Xiaomi Mi 5 from seven months and it was a great performer in gaming and battery back up but when i recently updated my phone software unfortunately my Proximity Sensor stopped working and my screen does not turn off automatically while i place it to my ear.

Need your valuable advice on this issue.

You have to dial *#*#6484#*#* and click on proximity sensor and calibrate it again, give it a try.

Or

If the first one fails then dial *#*#64663#*#* and calibrate the sensor.
