Can Series 40 Games be played on Series 60 phones?

My friend owe Nokia Series 60 mobile phone and he loves gaming and most of his time he spent on gaming. One day he asked me a question that whether we can play 40 Series games on 60 Series Handset but i was unable to answer it. I would like to know the answer from Etalkindia as it gives all the right answer to me.
