Big space eaten by winsxs folder- how to clean it up ? is it safe ?

I am facing disk space related issue in my windows installation, I checked and found that alone a folder name in C:\windows named as winsxs is eating more than 25GB of space, please tell me can we delete it ? is it safe to delete or can we reduce its size to free up space on my computer ?

You can run disk cleanup utility, from my computer, right click on the partition and then look for it.. There choose system files cleanup also. That way you can clean some of files from it safely, if not all.
