No address proof for current location for Passport student living in Hostel

M a student staying away from home in hostel..I applied for passport online...I have my
Appointment on 3rd july... the care taker of my hostel has refused to provide me the
Address proof ...what can be done now? Can I provide my local guardians address
which is different from the address I mentioned in the form..reply asap
