Dear Friends,
I have a 2009 model WagonR clocking around 73000 Kms till date.
Recently i noticed a strange creaking sound on the front left side near the wheel, i checked the underside & noticed a huge crack on the bridging panels.
I would like to know, if anybody has faced something something similar & how to get it repaired.
One way would be to weld the crack but knowing the quality of welders, i have a feeling that the weld will not last long.
Need suggestions?
The ideal solution in this case is to have the apron changed - but then, you'll have problems when you sell the vehicle.
A changed apron is a give away as the silicone seal at the top (near the strut top) will not have a factory finish.As a result,anybody inspecting the vehicle will believe that the car has suffered an However, since the apron hasn't got bent,it's worth the effort.
After all this, please get the wheels aligned checked and if toe,castor and camber are OK.(In this car,only the toe can be corrected without fuss.Camber and castor correction requires more effort,in that order).
