I was playing gears of war when pink vertical line appeared. It could be ram issue but the comp didnt hanged ! i was still playing , when i reboted , thee line was still there !! My processor temp remains 95+ when playing gow or any other game ! I have a e4400 .Pls help me guys 2 figure whats the prob , thnx in advance
Hi Gagan, its not clear where you are seeing PINK lines, you said you are seeing CPU LCD.. now where is that ?
But if you are referring to Monitor then there are two major cause of lines on screen:
1. Bad Monitor with dead pixel
2. GPU dying
So, if first is the issue, try to connect your Monitor to other computer and if you still get lines then monitor is bad. Get new Monitor or live with these lines.
And for second issue, if you have external GPU ie. graphic card, then remove it, use hair-dryer to heat it and clean it . Heat it good and now put it back, if lines are gone, you are good..else you need new GPU.
Aarish is right, I have also my old Monitor with one vertical line and it was Monitor problem, it also comes if you are not using your Monitor for long.
