How to get my parents convinced without hurting them(inter religion issue)

Hi,
I am 25 year old. I am in a relationship witha guy since last 7 years. We are of same age.I am from a muslim family the guy whom i love is from a hindu family and his family do not have any issues about our relationship. The problem is that 4 months ago my parents came to know about my relationship and they never agreed even though they did a love marriage they do not want me to do an intercast marriage. My mom is christian and my dad is muslim and they are against my relationship.

The guy whom I is now abroad but when my parents knew about himaome mo ths ago he was is not financially dependent and my parents got to know lot of negativity about him through my brothers friend. My parents never got convinced to meet him and his family. I love him but i also love my parents. I want to convince them without hurting them.
