To know the bsnl sim is a 2G or 3G network.Because we have faced many problems to search some things in these sim.
The SIM for any network is just a an identification code, it has nothing to do with network being 2G or 3G. It depends upon type of handset you are using as well as network availability in that area.
Best way is simply set your phone / device to auto mode under "Mobile Network " Settings and it will select network with strongest signals. Sometimes, even weaker 3G signals are preferred by devices over stronger 2G signals.
