Fiat Punto Avventura 2014 coming to India- Contemporary Urban Vehicle.

Fiat India is going to launch Fiat Punto Avventura very soon in India, most probably this November around Diwali. They are calling urban contemporary vehicle and looks promising.

It is essentially a more rugged version of the Punto. It is expected to get 200mm ground clearance and larger wheels, which are likely to improve its rough road tackling capabilities. It also sports a tail-gate-mounted spare wheel, mouldings on the side, protective skid plates and fully functional roof-rails. The Fiat Punto Avventura will be launched within the next couple of months.

If it is priced right then could be next favourite car of youth in India. Already people are so much attracted to compact SUV like Ecosport and Duster.

Fiat Avventura Overview

Italian automaker Fiat for possibly, the first time chose to showcase its all-new global concept in India. The concept in question is called the Fiat Avventura, which took its first public bow at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show.

Under the hood, we expect to see a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine that produces 115PS of max power and 204Nm of peak torque and a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine that is rated at 95PS and 209Nm. Both engines will be mated to a 6-Speed manual gearbox.

Once officially launched in the Indian market, the 2014 Fiat Avventura will go head to head with the Volkswagen Cross Polo and the upcoming Toyota Etios Cross. Fiat India has officially announced that the company would also be exporting the Avventura compact crossover to certain international markets, post its India launch.
