Satyam Virtual Pool Program (VPP) Calls 400 Associates

It’s really a happy turn of event for 400 Satyam employees who is in the Virtual pool as the Company has called them back to regular rolls.

These employees have been called back because of new Business opportunities the Company had found for them according to the Satyam Source.

Before you ask what is Virtual Pool? I’ll explain you. Virtual pool is applicable to those who based in India and allow associates to take time-off from work on a reduced pay structure for up to six months while they continue to retain their employment with the company.

The program has been designed to cover associates who have not been in billable roles for three months or more and include support resources.

Tech Mahindra, the IT arm of Multi-billion dollar conglomerate Mahindra and Mahindra, acquired strategic 31 % stake in Satyam for which the then Government appointed board had invited bids for salvaging the IT Giant reeling under an estimated 10,000 Crore Financial bid.
