What is your take on Network Marketing or Community Commerce Business????

So, as the title says, what is your take on Network Marketing or Community Commerce or say Chain Marketing business, share your take on it, is it good business to go for long term or should be kept as the last opportunity, I have found that these business is bit risky as compared to other businesses, but risk is the part of the every business no business comes with income guarantee or less risk factor.
Also it is always said by the experts that, "More the amount of risk involved in any business, more is the returns involved in the business"
So I am in a bit dilemma whether to go for the Network Marketing Business or not?????
