I was just casually browsing and found these pictures, really shocking for me and I am sharing here on eTI.

This is the celebration of the vegetarian festival in Phuket, Thailand. The local Chinese community believe that abstaining from meat and other stimulants, as well as self-punishment, drilling of body parts, can bring them peace of mind, health and welfare.
