bsnl 3g sim in d-link data card(DWM-156) not recognizing sim

Sir,

I have d-link DWM-156 data card into which I inserted bsnl 3g sim(settings are preset for bsnl for d-link card)
I activated 3gsim and recharged bsnl sim with 252/- 2g data plan but no (U)sim error is reported.why no net connection?

Could be damaged SIM.
Are you sure your data card is unlocked.

Can you use same SIM phone ?

Seems that your SIM might be damaged or you might have some compatibility issues with your data card.
