What is SNF written on Amul milk sachets ?

Freinds, now a days every packed food item comes with some kind of nutrients information on it for the food it holds, I see that Amul milk comes in various fat content version, for example, double tonned version comes with 1.5% fat minimum , so I know it has lower fat than other milk . But what is SNF it contents, it shows SNF aroun 9%, what is that ?

It is nothing but quantity of minerals and stuff other than fat in that milk. Milk SNF means Milk Solids-not-Fat, comprising protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, etc in milk other than milk fat. So, more the merrier, ie. if it has more SNF then its more nutritive as per definition.
