first confirm that is your phone compatible for kitkat............................................
You can't get update for your phone unless company releases it. You will have to wait for a long but there are fairy faint chances that company will role out it for your handset.
As previous replies have mentioned you have to wait until Google roll out the latest version KitKat for your device. I have read that it can run on 512 MB RAM as well but we have to wait and see the performance of this mobile OS.
