How to pay bsnl landline bill by cheque

Hi friends,

Has anyone ever paid bsnl broadband bill using a cheque as I want to know can I pay bsnl bill for broadband and landline through cheque ?
I have always paid it using cash but I now need to know way to pay it through cheque ? what is the procedure please explain.

Also want to know how much time it takes to get reflected in your bill when bill is paid through cheaque ?

Yes, you can pay bill using Cheque, all you need to go to bsnl bill collection center, there they have 2 options (most of the time), one they have automatic bill collecting machine where you can insert cheque provide details via touch screen panel.

Second is simply submit it on counter..

Cheque must be in favour of "BSNL AO, <YOUR CITY NAME">
And on back of check you should write your phone number , bsnl phone account number.

But make sure you confirm these details first.
