Is it safe to drink pasteurized milk without boiling- is it safe ?

Usually we all drink milk after boiling, it is coming from old days where we used to obtain milk directly from the farm but now in cities , we have to rely on packaged milk which is pasteurized milk, when I read about pasteurization, it is process in which milk is heated to 72 degree celcius to 100+ for 30 seconds and then rapidly cooled down to 6 degree or so, killing bacteria or other things in it. So, can we drink pasteurized milk directly, is it safe to drink without boiling ?

Well, it should be. I have taken it without boiling many times and its perfectly fine. Infact I think boiling may further decrease its nutritive value as its already treated with heat during pasteurization process.
