Rupees Is At Record Low Hits 53.74 Against Dollar

It is a matter of grave concern that rupees is continuously dipping down against dollar, is at record low at 53.74 against US Dollar. This will make importing from foreign countries expensive and will affect prices of foreign brand of cars and appliances. Major car production companies like Ford, General motors, Nissan have already hiked the prices of their cars in India by 2%-3%. Samsung has also announced that it will reviewing its pricing in India in January and is expected to increase the prices of its appliances in India.

Here's hoping that government will take it seriously and will not let the prices of these brands increase

It is a matter of grave concern buddy that Indian rupees is dipping down against Dollars and definitely it will impact the prices of foreign goods. India at this point of time cannot afford an economy crisis. Lets hope the political class is able to handle the situation and prevent Indian rupees from dipping down more further.

I do see that there is significant improvement in the dollar rate and this will definitely cause not only increase the foreign good rate but also the rise in petrol and other commodities. This economic crisis is seems to be more worsen now.

Ya rightly said ....there is significant improvement in the Dollar rate but it is not quite enough...Many foreign car making companies have already announced that they are going to increase to prices of their models in India... Many gadgets are already becoming costlier due to this drop in rupees....And needless to say that petrol rates will be higher any day once this rupees falls further down as compared to dollar

Yes it can seen that dollar is getting strong against rupees and prices of many goods are rising because of this. There are several factors because of which this downfall in rupees value can be seen.
