After Upgrading to ICS can we Downgrade it to Gingerbread?

Hi,
My friend suggested me to upgrade my phone from GB to ICS, as per his opinion ICS works much better then GB. I said him Ok, but the query building in my mind was that whether we have a option of downgrading it back to Gingerbread. If no, then please reply me as soon as possible.

Yes, you can do this, all you need to do is to flash back in stock ROM of your old phone. You can download stock rom for your model on various website easily.
