Unable to change folder name in Windows 7

Hi

I have certain folder my pc lying there from long which I can not open . I had copied them from my mobile phone which is nokia 5800. Now the folder has odd names like "(*&^*#&Y" and when I try to open, I can't open them . I thought I can rename but neither I can rename them. I don't want to delete them as are very important photos and pictures taken from my phone. Even in phone they never opened and I had formatted my memory card after copying them to computer.

I think your phone was infected by virus who renamed folder in such a way that windows can't handle it and hence can't change it. If you can't rename in windows, you may try linux but I am not sure if it will solve your problem..
