Need advice on the long term/life long visas for India
but if it's in wrong section then i don't mind if it gets moved...
basically my ultimate dream is to move to india within the next few years ( or soon as possible ) i just need advice on the long term/life long visas, the PIO or the OCI... also if anyone knows anyone or you yourself have moved to india from another country and now reside there...
ok so the question is...
does anyone know the success rate of attaining an OCI card? there's a lot of confusion on the required documents and i've noticed many people to be hard done by when they've applied? my mum was born in india and my grandparents amongst other relatives live there also..
any information would be appreciated, thank you
Re: Need advice on the long term/life long visas for India
I do not have information regarding this but I asked a friend of mine who have good experience in such things.. I got following reply.

If you are of Indian origin then you need only PIO CARD. But if not of Indian origin then, You can grab the information from this link:

I know few British ppl and ppl from Germany who are living in India from last 20 years and they are very happy. They feel ppl are more loving and helpful in India then their own country. Bcs of them their few other relatives also now living in India.
