Guys as question says, when we can get Marshmallow update for Rockchip 3288 based devices ? I have MK809_4K device and I think getting a marshmallow update for it will be really nice. Is there any link to download or is it not even released because I can't find many information about it. Most of the latest I find is Android 5.1.1 which not even officially created by the company or firm behind the device ?
Any insight guys ?
Dear, as far as I understand, every manufacturer makes newer chips and stop working on old one. Rockchip 3288 is I think an year old and now they are working on newer chip , I think RK3366 or newer. If 3288 is their latest chip then you may get Marshmallow on it but since its not, there are faint chances there will be marshmallow or Android 6 ever released for this chip. Even I can't find any marshmallow running on RK3288 chipset. So better is to stop having any expectation.
