Is cinema and serials a threat to modern world?

now a days people are very much exploited by cinemas and serials. Many of them deeply get involved in the character of cinema and serials. Also the crazyness of these two had captured the people. people even forget what they were supposed to do? Some people even read and eat before the tv. what should be done to solve this problem?

well actually both have their own pros and cons so cant take side of 1 thing and talk...but both are equally good and bad from my point of view...
