West Bengal will be renamed as west bang.......Actually bang gives and define a more appropriate information about the state. State where majority speaks bengali the new name is more apt. But yes your question is very appropriate..Although this money is not wasted but at current situation we have much more grass root level issues to be addressed than branding the state. You buy an Audi only after you are sure that u dont have to wonder for 3 meals a day........Govt. timing is not appreciated although there is nothing against renaming the state......But this renaming looks more apt only after we are not fighting these grass root problems of education,poverty,etc..
