For budget of 5 lakhs, you can easily buy i10 Magno O which is the higher end model of i1o, though i10 D-Lite costs something around 3.25 lakh ex-showroom, so if you have already shortlisted car ie. i10 and wanted to spend Rs. 5 lakh then go for Magna or Magna O .

Well if you are looking for hatch back car then Maruti ritz is a new option which has 1.2l engine..
Maruti A-Star has good average but it again has 1.0 engine like spark.
Also hyundai i10 and i20 both are very good cars...
The all time hit Maruti Suzuki swift will be on top among them.
If you want sedan then go for swift dzire or indigo ...

I think the best car is maruti desire. I feel like a sadan and budget under controle. It is value for money and give the positive response form other side.
I think Maruti Suzuki is good company. So, your budget is 4-5 lakhs, i will recommend u swift or swift dezire. You can go for hundai i10 but before that test drive both the car and try to to get more and more specifications.

I hope you are talking about two different cars because Swift is from Maruti and i10 is from Hyundai.
