Tata Motors has launched two new buses in Indian markets on Tuesday. The two buses Tata Starbus and Tata Divo Are priced at Rs.15lakh and Rs. 66lakh respectively. Communicating with the press, President, commercial vehicles business unit, Mr. Ravi Pisharody, said, "With the introduction of the Tata Divo and the Tata Starbus Ultra, the company will more comprehensively address the burgeoning need of public transportation."

Tata Divo has customized interior features such as different seating layout, seater configurations, wide seats, armrests and head flaps. This model will be powered by a 285 hp Cummins engine which will be joined with a six speed overdrive gearbox.


The other model Tata Starbus has been designed keeping in mind the city bus transportation and is available in Luxury, Standard, School and Deluxe variants. This model will be available in different seating configurations of 22-46 seater which will be on different wheelbase. The bus will be powered by 497 engine coupled with a six speed gearbox with overdrive and cable shift mechanism.
