Maruti has launched it's much awaited it's multi purpose vehicle, Ertiga at Auto Expo 2012. This car will be the first Indian car that will be a three row sitting. This car of Maruti is expected to be launched in Indian markets by the end of March or early April 2012. This car is built on the base design of Swift except it is much longer than Swift.

It has a new K14 petrol engine with super turbo DDIS. The engine is capable of pumping out 94PSof power at 6000rpm with a torque of 130Nm where as diesel engine is capable of pumping out 88PS of power with a torque of 200Nm. This model has a peeled back headlight with a much sporty front bumper. The interior, dashboard and mirrors are quite similar to New Swift. this model will have three rows of seats along with three options which are as follows 2, 3/4, 5. It will have a double air conditioner that will provide comfort as well as coolness. Where as safety of the car is concerned it has a Airbag and ABS system.

Experts opine that if this Indian car is well priced in this competitive environment it will definitely be able to capture the imagination of buyers. This car will be launched by March 2012 across the country as claimed by th officials.
