German luxury car and bike manufacturer BMW who is already lready sourcing handle bars and die casts among other parts for its high-end motorcycles through its international purchasing office (IPO) opened in the country last year.

BMW has started sourcing from India in a small quantity for cars as well, like software parts and has been closely working with vendors such as Mico Bosch and Conti.

Now is now looking to source parts for engines and chassis for its high-end two-wheelers from India. It will further strengthen their presence in India.
