friends whenever i try to install office 2007 ,their one error prompts that "you have older Version of XP" What i have to do now ???

One of my friend suggest me to insatl service pack 2 of XP but friends i Don't want to lose my data in formatting and it will be a wastage of time
,can you people suggest me some other alternative

just stay with 2003 or download 2007 again because i m havin xp sp2 and office2007 is installed on it with no errors or problem.

Whoever told you to format the system for installing Service Packs? The service packs are just like installables like MSOffice... ya they are .exe files which can be installed like any other programs. So just get those installables and you are done.. no formattting at all. ;D

I have done it like that, no probs faced. If you are using the original XP version, you can apply for the service packs online and Microsoft India will mail it to you. I believe you will get it in google to, just try searching.
