    A group of researchers at Pennsylvania University have discovered that even after a week in fridge the fruits does not loose their Nutrients....They discovered that Antioxidant Polypheneol level which is responsible for preserving nutrients in fruits were the same as it was on day one....

    Hence keeping fruits in fridge has no negative effect on nutrients as proved by this team of researchers

    The results of the research might be true but we also need to consider various facts related to this. for example were the fruit cut or whole, were they kept open or covered in foil or plastic wrap... and then need to apply these things to Indian conditions.
    I believe if the fruits are covered or kept in a good container and no power cuts... I guess they'll be good for 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
