Samsung has announced the launch of a new Smartphone which they call Samsung Galaxy S Advance. this handset will be first sold in Russia and then will extend it's availability to CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia and finally to Latin America.

This handset will have a 4.0 inch screen with a resolution of 480X800 pixels and will be powered by a 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. The advance comes with a 768MB of RAM and a expandable memory of 16 GB. For those who love clicking photographs it will have a 5 Megapixel Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash and 1.3MP secondary camera. The handset will have a dimensions of 123.2X63.0X9.69mm and it will weigh around 120grams and with a battery of 1500Mah you can definitely expect a longer talk time and standby time. Other features include 3.5mm audio Jack, Stereo and FM Radio.

A unique feature of Galaxy Advance is that a lost phone management system which secures phone data encryption, this function ensures in case of phone loss users will be able to trace their lost phone directly via the Web or even delete the device’s data remotely.

The Samsung Galaxy S is Samsung's reply to the HTC Desire. Like the Desire, the Galaxy S runs Android, the coolest operating system for the past few months, and we're pleased to discover that it's version 2.1 - the same as the Desire.

What the hell you are talking about , version 2.1 is too old now, it is now 4.3 series now a days. I think you are making bogus posts.

Same as the BlackBerry Protect feature.

it formats the device in the blackberry. not sure about samsung. you can also make a message appear on the screen of your blackberry. and you can also make it ring(the ring sounds weird),all this remotely.
The mobile should be switched on and also should have access to the internet though.

Blackberry protect is not a feature.Its an application.
