I am not being able to scrap people on orkut from my laptop. till yesterday everything was fine, but suddenly it just stopped. however, I can scrap from other PC's that means I have accidently changed some settings on my laptop. I browse with Internet explorer and I have windows Vista. Kindly help ASAP....

If there is no network restriction then you might have disabled javascript in your browser. Try to use other browsing software like "Firefox" and if same problem persist in then you have network restriction.

hey Ricky thanks a lot for ur help ya...it is working with firefox.....just out of curiosity if I could jus ask you how can I enable this Java script for internet explorer as i prefer to use that as my browser... U must hav surely guessed by now that I am not a very techno person ;D......

Well, enable/disable javascript may be daunting for you in IE..
I suppose you are using IE7 ie. internet explorer 7 ..

Do following :

In Internet Explorer 7 click on the 'Tools' button located in the upper right part of the screen (next to the gear icon) and select 'Internet Options'

Click on the 'Security' tab (step 3) and then click on the 'Custom Level...' button

Scroll downuntil you can see options as shown on the picture. They are located near the bottom of the list. Set the option 'Active scripting' to 'Enable'. Then click on the 'OK' button. Click 'Yes'

Click 'OK' . This concludes enabling JavaScript for Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.
