Home minister's latest remark on middle class is betrayal of his little understanding about the living condition of common person of India. HM doesn't realize the pain of the person who does not spend rs. 15 to buy a bottle of mineral water and prefers 5-6 hours of thirst so that he could buy an ice cream for his child. In India conditions of middle class should not be misunderstood on the ground of per capita income of the country. In small cities and towns people find it difficult to earn about rs10,000 a month which is necessary to feed a small family of husband, wife, two children and parents.
Targeting middle class has always been easy for politicians. This is with the understanding that middle class doesn't bother to vote during the elections but now scenario is changing. Turnout of UP assembly elections is example of awakening of Indian voters irrespective of their class. In 1989 former prime minister V.P. Singh won the elections with exclusive support of middle class. Please stop looking common Indian person with spectacles of class, castes, community etc. Sufferings and miseries are same for all Indians. Respect citizens.
