Why would one actually buy it?
The time has gone when there was no competition in the market.

Well, whether its worthy or not, it has so much of brand value and excitement that even if it was crap , people would have rushed for it. Initial impression are very good for this new phone and it seems that screen upgrade is most exciting for those who were using 3.5inches Iphone 4. And yes, screen does make difference, but if anyone who have used samsung SIII or even SII won't be so excited about it. New iphone is lighter and has crispier display , with better processor and new IOS6 .
For user like me, its nothing exciting as I already have various choices in market like SIII, HTC One X and new Nokia 920 with windows 8 .. but for Iphone lovers.. they will again go made as they did on launch of iphone 4

For its costly thing, but if I had money would have purchased one for sure.

I my self am an avid apple fan,but the launch of the iPhone 5 has dissappointed me and many other apple users.
They shouldn't have created this much hype as it was not worth it.
Thats just my personal opinion though,there are people who are quite satisfied with what small additions the iPhone 5 has over the iPhone 4s.

True.. and as I said.. people really went MAD again for Iphone 5 ...
