Tata Safari was first launched by Tata Motors in 1998 with 1.9 litre turbo diesel engine and the car have hits Indian road on august 2005 with diesel and petrol engine.Now the very famous and popular SUV in India from Tata Motors has undergone a lift.Which named the Tata Safari Strome.Alright the company has seen the car in Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi.Tata Safari Strome would available with more new features and better fuel economy.The strome will be equipped with 2.2 Litres DICOR diesel engine and also it will come in two models Tata Safari Strome 4x4 and Tata Safari Strome 4x2.The blonde Storme is expected offere Striking Features & Safety Features in which like ABS / ESP and EBD,remote central locking system or Fog lamps and Traction Control,Sun Roof and side ORVM indicators.Pricing for the new Tata Safari Storme is expected to round in the Rs 9 to 12 lakh bracket.

The Safari Storme is now based on the X2 platform, which is Tata's new ladder chassis. On the outside, the Storme resembles a lot to its sibling but many changes have been made on the car. The 2.2L diesel engine is capable to generate the 138bhp peak power and 320Nm torque value. The interiors have been done in pseudo wood finish, while the high quality upholstery further adds more charm to the SUV. Storme is expected to come with 2WD as well as 4WD options. The price quote for new Safari Storme is between Rs 8-11 lakh .The SUV is expected to deliver a superb city mileage of 11 km per litre whereas the highway mileage would be around 13 km per litre . This new SUV comes with remote central locking system that would make sure that the car is protected from thefts. While driving, the safety features like 6 airbags, ABS (Anti Lock Brake System) with ESC (Electronic Stability Control) and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) would surely help the wheel from locking in case of collision or accident along with Traction Control and Brake assist. Other safety features comprise of parking sensors for better parking, fog lamps for superior vision in case of unfavorable weather condition accompanied with traction control.

Definitely new Safari Storme is better than previous one , but I think it failed to create that visual presence which was similar to previous one.
