From the rumors i was heard that Mahindra is looking forward to buy Auston Martin, is that true? Since, Auston Martin is one of the biggest manufacturer in luxury cars, then why Mahindra is looking to buy it. As we can see from the past history, some of the biggest giants in automobile industry partnership to share a common platform, as you have to run a business and keeps costs in check.
As a result we have seen earlier that ,"Porsche has also shares the for instance shares the Cayenne platform with the Volkswagen Touareg and both have work decently in their own fields.

Yes, they are one of the firm who approached to buy Auston Martin as currently its making losses (just like LandRover / Jaguar case when Tata bought it) .
I am not sure what will they really gain after buying this loss making firm as already they are suffering (Mahindra) in two wheeler business as well Large Commercial vehicles (ie Navistar collaboration).
