Aircel on of the leading mobile operator in Inida has decided to scale down its GSM mobile service operations in mainly 5 telecom circles. As per the company officials it has been stated," company is looking to restructure it's business in Inida". Aircel currently operates in 23 states out of which five states like Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab are in bid to lower down the costs and there will be relocation of resources to acquire profitable telecom circles.




As rumored operators has informed all the distributors of these five states Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab circles, that it plans to restructure its entire business model and it may not require their services for a while.
However Aircel stated,"However Aircel officially said [I] ”Aircel is revamping its business model innovatively to lower ‘cost to serve’ without compromising on customer service or network experience. The telecom industry is facing severe margin pressures as the voice market is maturing and the data demand in its true sense is still nascent. Operational costs are high and incremental market demand for relatively new players is prohibitive.”

Overall, Aircel has more than 66 million customers in all the 23 states of India. It will create a terror inside the Aircel users.
