LG, one of the biggest giants in Electronics and telecommunications has launched it's new product called as,"LG Optimus L9" which is slotted below the Optimus 4X HD in LG’s portfolio. Earlier this year, in the month of August LG has officially announced," that company will make the launch of this smartphone as soon as possible in the market".

The LG Optimus L9 will sports a descent 4.7 inches, IPS LCD, Capacitive Multi-touchscreen of display with a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It also has 16M colors. The LG Optimus L9 runs on Android Operating System[ v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich)] and is powered up with a Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor that allows the user to experience fast net-browsing and also it has PowerVR SGX540 GPU user can experience with better gaming facility. In terms of Camera, it has primary camera and secondary camera as well, primary camera is set up at 5 MEGAPIXEL enriched with nice picture quality, it is also equipped with autofocus LED flash enabling the user to capture images even in the dark, VGA offering in Secondary Camera.

In terms of Storage, it comes with 4 GB of internal memory baptized up with 1 GB of RAM which can be easily extendable upto 32 GB with micro SD support. Dealing with it's Connectivity, it offers GPRS with Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots) 32 - 48 kbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA,Bluetooth Yes, v3.0 with A2DP, EDR, enabled with USB support (microUSB v2.0).

LG Optimus L9 has QTranslator app based off Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Technology and can scan entire sentences and phrases in 44 foreign languages to 64 user languages. This tech works in conjunction with the camera and an online translation engine. the company has also added an adaptive keyboard called the ‘My Style Keypad’. It actually adapts to weather the user is texting single handedly or using both his fingers.

The price of the LG Optimus L9 is set at Rs 22,000 and is available in all the leading online retailers and also on the authorised dealers acroos the country.

Costly.. its a costly phone as compared to its specification to price.
