Recently, My friend told me that he has retrieved his password through missed call. But, as per my knowledge i didn't heard anything yet. If anyone knows then please reply me as soon as possible.

You heard it right, password retrieving through missed call is available, when you click on the password retrieve button there will be a dialog box appears which displays enter your mobile number, while you enter you mobile number you got the same confirmation link as you got in you mailbox.
