Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has restricted the international calling facility for its prepaid connections. Earlier, the facility of making ISD calls was activated for the prepaid connection users of BSNL. But, following the directives from Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, BSNL has dropped the facility.

According to a Telecom Talk report, the telecom service provider will inform its customers about the change via SMS. But, if you are a BSNL prepaid connection user, don't be disappointed with the decision. You can continue to enjoy the ISD services like before. BSNL prepaid connection users can activate ISD services simply by sending an SMS to the service provider. Just type ‘ACT ISD’ and send it to 53733. You can deactivate the service as well by sending ‘DEACT ISD’ to 53733.

With the facility of activating the service again, this decision of the telecom operator will not affect the users as much.
