Salman Khan, 47 year old actor and giving some of the biggest hits in couple of years has signed a big deal with a channel TV. Salman Khan has confirmed the deal but has refused to give any details on it. The deal, being first of its kind, is estimated to be between Rs 450 to Rs 500 Crore.

Star India’s COO Sanjay Gupta told the Times of India, ”While there is a growth in the overall box office, the biggest cinema hall today is the TV.

“The biggest film can only draw in an audience of 2-3 crore people while a television premiere can reach 20-30 crore people, this is the biggest change taking place.”

The huge box-office success of Salman’s latest movies “Ready”, “Bodyguard”, “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Dabangg 2″ which have crossed the Rs 200-crore mark has perhaps pushed the TV Channel to ink a deal with the superstar.

People close to the actor, staying anonymous, avoided being on the record said that this deal is a contract which will include all his films over the next five years after last month's Dabangg 2. "It is reasonably long and big," said Star India's Chief Operating Officer Sanjay Gupta.

Good going Dabaang Khan.
