Google's android to be launched in december

    Advert.

Google till now has been known for its dominance in the software domain particularly related to internet. But come December the corporate giant is all set to foray into hardware offerings in the mobile phone space with the launch of its much anticipated ‘Android’ based ‘GPhone’ phone.

While the developments related to the product have been kept as secretive as possible, reports say that Google is gearing up to launch the phone in alliance with T-Mobile in UK. The handset will be built in alliance with HTC and will be 3G compatible.

Google wants to target more specifically the mobile advertising market with the launch of its GPhone.

The phone has already attracted lot of attention and interest due to speculations that it may revolutionise mobile advertising as well as phone features just as Apple’s iPhone managed to do it.

It will be interesting to watch if Google can challenge Apple in the mobile phone sector in the same way as it has challenged Microsoft in the internet domain.
