Country's second largest car Maker Hyundai launched its new car. The new car is LPG version of its most popular product ie. Santro. The new car is called as Santro Eco. Company said, that they had taken a environment friendly decision by launching this LPG version. Earlier they had launched CNG variant of Santro.

The new Santro ECO LPG will be available in 1.1 eRLX patrol engine. This variant will work in dual mode ie. one can drive car either from patrol or from LPG. The availability of LPG is widespread and this will make it easier to operate. The LPG version of the SANTRO will be Rs. 21,500 costlier than normal petrol version.

The new Santro ECO is priced between Rs 3.54 lakh and Rs 3.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Also, the The kit in the car is impact resistant and the entire fitment is approved by Department of Explosives (DOE) and certified and tested by Automotive research Association of India (ARAI). Unlike other LPG models of other manufacturer, the Santro Eco LPG's LPG storage is designed in such a way that it do not occupy whole storage, you still have plenty of space at back to use.
