My S2 has crashed I am getting errors on start up - The application IM () has stopped unexpectedly please try again - click on OK and then comes up with another error the same such as the above.
I have no idea how to re-install anything.
I am nothing without my phone, please show me the way out.

Your stored apps may be crash due to virus issues. Follow as below:-
* Buy an antivirus and scan your device.
* Don't store unwanted application in your device uninstall some of your unwanted apps.
* Remove your crash apps from your device and install it again from Google play store.

Do a safe boot of your phone, restore the factory settings and also format the SD card. This will remove all your data etc from the phone.
