If I say that throw your old bike or scooter or car in scrap. Else I say that you would not be allowed to drive or ride your old vehicle on road. What would be your reaction and emotions at that time. Either there will be tears rolling down of your eyes or they would get red due to anger more over there would be blood in your eyes for the person who banned you from this.



Same situation is now there with the Padmini taxi drivers in Mumbai. As, government of India has banned the Padmini Taxis by FIAT which are older than 20 years due to some environmental reasons, this made the life of those taxi drivers a hell. These taxis were the only source of income for these drivers. But,. the historic decision by government has let them down.

What you guys think is this a good decision by the government. Already so many people are unemployed in India moreover this decision would bring what circumstances in Mumbai is still to be seen.

I think this is quite insane, what will happen to all those taxi drivers who were driving these taxi's.
