How to increase speed laptop running windows 8

HI,

I am facing problem with slow speed of windows 8 laptop, earlier I was running windows 7 on it and it was slow , my laptop is i5 with 8 GB ram so problem is not with my slow laptop but now I install window 8 and again it is slow. I have tried everything and i do not want to format my computer and reinstall windows so friends tell me way to increase speed of my laptop. I searched over internet and followed many tutorial, all unwanted services are disabled, unnecessary programs are removed. There are no unwanted program at boot time but still my laptop is damn slow. What is the process to make it fast ?
