Both phones are nice, both phones runs on same processor and chipset and both have same amount of RAM. However, Xperia C is little slimmer and little lighter than Lenovo P780 , but Lenovo has better front camera and has IPS display. Overall, I think if you are looking for something with good build quality then Sony xperia C but if you are looking for better value of your money then Lenovo P780 because it has more features and is also 3K less in price than Xperia C.
