US stocks ended mixed, with the indices retreating from high levels in early trading, as it accelerated to fall in the final hour of trading after activist investor Carl Icahn was reported to say he is "very cautious" on the stock market and expects to see a "big drop."DJIA closed 14.3 points up or 0.1% at 15976.0.
Asian stocks are trading mixed after the previous session's hefty gains on China's economic reform plans, as Investors remained on guard for any clues as to when the US central bank will start unwinding its $85 billion-a-month stimulus programme. Nikkei is trading 106.3 points down or -0.7% at 15058.0 & Hang Seng is trading 147.5 points up or 0.6% at 23807.6.
