Yes you can store videos in sd card in 8.1 updates. There are some steps i will mention
In Windows Phone 8.1 go to the application list.
Scroll to and open Storage sense.
Tap phone.
Select a category (apps + games, music, videos, podcasts, photos)
Select the app.
Tap 'move to SD'
Your app will now be moved from the phone to the SD card.
And window 8.1 has selw a new features You can find it by going to Settings > Battery Saver Microsoft’s built-in battery saving features, and allowing you to see which apps are using the most amount of battery juice Under Usage, the apps
