    Hope I can get help here, I am using my linux computer from long time and never checked my disk status, I just randomly checked my disk and I see following error. .

    It says that
    Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary

    Full error goes below :


    Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
    /dev/sda1 * 1 26 2048300 83 Linux
    Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary.
    /dev/sda2 26 15567 1248209016 83 Linux
    Partition 2 does not end on cylinder boundary.


    Is it something I should worry about friends ?

    This is nothing to worry, just ignore it and go on. Its just fdisk -l shows that error as its little old program and reporting that error.
